let me begin by first apologising for severely neglecting my blog as of recent. There was a time (2 months ago), when I would write practically every day but then of course came January exams and then the stressful problem of coursework. I myself stupidly took very coursework-based subjects and as a result now find myself almost completely overwhelmed with coursework and looming deadlines that make me want to curl up in a ball and cry :'( Now you may be thinking, 'but Emma, you take art? What is the stress with that?' The answer if you dared asked me that question I am reluctant to say would be mainly a demon-like stare and menacing tone, 'Art is the bane of my life'. Literally. I cannot WAIT to drop it at the end of the year and be free. I used to LOVE art but now I find myself dreading the lessons which is such a shame as I used to have such a passion for it. I also took product design which is another subject, although I enjoy, feel is becoming another bane of my existence because of the fact my deadline for five, yes FIVE projects is in just two weeks. Dear Lord. Needless to say I felt I had to at least begin a solution to my never-ending coursework problem and that was to write an in-depth (I say in-depth but I'm merely skimming the surface unfortunately) To Do List. I have said that it's 'in-depth' as it's more that just 'Do art' and 'Do tech' which is what I have previously written. Here is a beautiful picture of said list:
I'm not going to go into detail but that's a LOT of work to do in just a couple of weeks and can I just clarify that my coursework deadline dates have been brought forward and so my stress is perfectly justified :') K?
Now, the aim of this blog post was not to complain about my stress and work load (although I know it has turned into that), but just to inform everyone that I have found To Do Lists extremely useful in relieving certain parts of the stress because by writing down what you have to do, I sometimes find it enjoyable to complete something just to cross it off. If anyone is currently stressed about a work load, then I advise you to create a list like mine if you haven't already just because it is something I never did previously and now I have it stops me hyperventilating every night :') This is obviously not the only thing on my mind recently what with UCAS and work shadowing, running a Young enterprise business and preparing for my future and all that jazz so I just felt I had to inform everyone that I haven't disappeared off the face of the earth, I have simply been very stressy and busy. I'm so sorry for not writing all the time but to do so would be simply impossible with the pressure being put on me at the moment and if I need to take a break once in a while to stop me melting then it's just the way it will have to be unfortunately :')
Thanks for reading all the way to the end if you have reached this point, I know it's not beauty related but sometimes I like to write about different 'life' things and perhaps this will help others under a lot of stress at the moment :) Anyway, enough of the negativity, I hope everyone is happy and well and I will get back to you as soon as is physically possible for me, cheerio! Oh and my new video is up :') It's a DIY!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94Zj6J_KsyE&feature=youtu.be

I ORGANISED: Makeup collection :)
HEY GUYS! Yes I know I have been very lazy with posting but I assure you it has simply been down to not having enough time :( I really really don't have enough time at the moment due to lots of coursework getting in the way and I'm getting very tired which is a bad thing for me and my condition so the more time I spend resting and less stressing over extra things such as my blog and youtube, the better for my health. Sorry if that means neglecting it but I have so many things to do at the moment such as driving lessons and work also that constant blogging just really isn't likely. HOWEVER, I did film a video yesterday and I hope it will be up tomorrow :D I also re-organised my makeup collection about a week ago and am loving having everything so pretty already :') This is just a quick post to show you what I did but I'm not going to go through all my products as that would take a long time and I'm sure it would be far less impressive than others that are floating around YouTube and blogspot.
So this is my products shelf where you can see I store all my face, some body and hair products as well as perfume in the centre.
The next shelf down is my first shelf of makeup with my tin of everyday essentials such as foundation, powder and mascara, my pot of brushes and my tin of blusher and bronzer. At the back in the wicker basket is where I have all my makeup bags and just general things I will probably never use.
So this is the cutest section with my nail varnish at the back which you can't see, my hand and nail products, lip products and pot of eyeliners/brow gel and then finally all of my single eye shadows and palettes.
So starting with my brushes, I basically just keep all of my brushes I will ever use in here. I don't own any amazing brushes yet, they're mainly ones I have been given by my mom or have had in sets for christmas/birthday. I am hoping to purchase some real techniques brushes soon though, fingers crossed! I actually found these plant pots downstairs when I was looking for something to store all my brushes and I think I painted them when I was really little! Not to everyone's taste but I think they're handy and cute :3
So this is my tin of blushers and bronzers, not so many as of yet I know but who knows what the future has to hold? Haha! Anyway, this tin is one that my mom used to use for cakes and it's quite old so I nabbed it and am using it for my makeup. I really like it and it saved me having to buy tins that looked brand new as I like the older, vintage sort of feel.
This is all of my everyday essentials, you see I have foundation, BB cream, concealer, powder, liquid eyeliner and mascara. The tin is from France when I went on French exchange in year 9 and I just think it's oh-so-cute :) Below you can see my products better.
This is one of my favourite parts of my makeup collection now, my lip products! Before I organised, the majority of these products were just hidden away and not easily accessible but now everything has changed! This is a smaller version of my bronzer and blusher tin and it just about fits all of my glosses, stains and lipsticks. I have kept lip balms separate.
Here is where I keep all of my eyeliners and one clear mascara which I use as eyebrow gel. It was only when I was re-organising that I realised just how many eyeliners I own, haha! I used to use eyeliner a lot but as I've grown older I tend to stick to liquid except on a night out. I also have a sharpener and some cotton buds in there because... I don't even know :') This plant pot is a smaller version of my brushes one.
I am so glad I kept this but it HAS MY NAME ON! :D HOW CUTE?! Aw it's so adorable and so I just had to use it :') I have stored all of my single eye shadows and cream shadows in here :)
This little box is from a Cath Kidston box of nail essentials I was given by a friend for my birthday and I have simply reused the packaging to store even more nail essentials!
I love this section! I can see all of my colours of nail varnish so they are easy to select and the whole tin is easy to take out and choose from. Once again, all of them just about fit... I think this means I am going to have to lay off on buying any for a while... This tin as you can see is simply a Fox's biscuit tin that was previously used by my mom for storing cakes.

Finally, here is my palette collection and duo eye shadows/random shimmer :') I simply placed them all on the lid of the fox's tin so that they are easily accessible when I want to choose.
So there we go, my makeup re-organised and looking pretty. I hope that if you have read all the way to the bottom you have enjoyed it/picked up some ideas for your own. I really enjoyed organising all my products which was weird but it gave me a sense of satisfaction and I usually LOVE watching makeup collection videos so I hope that this blog post hasn't bored you too much :') Tarraaa for now amigo's <3

I heart drugstore makeup TAG
Hey guys sorry for not posting but I have been away on a ski trip with school and only just got back a few days ago so I have been busy with school work and catching up on my energy levels! I had an awesome time though and have many bruises to prove just how much exercise we did :) I even got an award for the most out-of-control jump named the 'Eddie the Eagle' award from the teachers! I am proud to say that after going on two ski trips I now know how to properly ski and can 'carve' (hands up if you know that ski term ;)) as well as land the majority of jumps and ski confidently down black runs even with moguls and also off-piste! :D I had an amazing time but sorry if I was a little neglecting, however I was in Austria so I'm sure you can let me off...
So my most recent video is the 'I heart drugstore makeup TAG' which went up yesterday and here are my photos for this blog post. If you want to find out more then just go and watch my video and subscribe :)

Review: Maybelline Colour Tattoo
Hey guys, I know that this is a relatively 'old' product but I recently purchased it and it featured in my last video so I thought I would just chat about what I think about the Maybelliene 24 hour Colour Tattoo eye shadows They are a cream gel based formula and so stay on for a lengthy amount of time indeed!
I bought mine in 'Eternal Gold' as I often use gold or silver on my eyes along with a brighter colour in my corner and crease and the gold shadow I currently use is running out. I have seen a lot about these shadows and wanted to test one out for myself. I know I'll definitely get a lot of use out of this shade. It comes in seven different colours and I would love to try the 'Turquoise forever' shadow as it looks so bright and amazing!

I only bought it a couple of weeks ago and already I have used it on several occassions including in a makeup tutorial video I have done on my YouTube channel! :D
So far I love the fact that it is a cream gel, a consistency I never thought I would get on with, but it isn't too thick and slides on pretty easily although you do have to use your fingers, a brush is a no-go area with this. It looks like I have used barely any of the shadow which I love as it means it will last a very long time for me. I think the price was around £4 which I don't think is too bad for the amount you get and the staying power is fantastic! When using powder-based shadows I find they wear away far easier and by the end of the day it all seems to have collected in the creases of my eyes (I have quite oily eye lids) whereas this cream didn't appear to do so as much if indeed at all.
The colour pigmentation of this eyeshadow is amazing and apologies for the shocking first photo, my camera just does not do it justice. Especially with powder shadows I find that the colour doesn't look on what it looks like in the palette and so I'm constantly disappointed, however, this definitely looked like it was in the jar and therefore five stars to Maybelline for colour payoff!
Oh and if anyone wants to know, the colour on my nails in 'Mojito Madness' by Essie :)
Postives:
- Good price for quality
- Excellent pigmentation
- Great staying power
- Looks the same on the eye as in the jar
- Large amount in the jar, lasts a long time
Negatives:
- Slightly too yellow a gold in my opinion but that's something I can easily get over.
As you can see there are far more positives than negatives. The only other criticism I have is that I would like more colours to choose from but I guess that's something which takes time to formulate and maybe we will be seeing more of these in the future who knows?! Hope you enjoyed that little review and if you don't have a Maybelline Colour Tattoo already then I suggest you run out and buy one, I'm in love with mine :)
See you next time!
Oh and do check out my latest video! Chow :)

Blog Swap Prezzies!
So I received my blog swap presents in the post yesterday from the lovely Chelsea at chelsschapman.blogspot.co.uk :D I was SO excited when I saw the box and I couldn't wait to open it! I have to admit I was immensely shocked when I saw what was inside as there was SO MUCH stuff! Seriously, Chels deserves an award just for managing to fit that amount of products within our spending limit! Anyway, on to what was inside...
In this photo I have a 'When the Clock Strikes Midnight' eyeshadow palette, A Rimmel lipstick in shade 'Honey Honey' and some Ted Baker eyeshadow.
The lipstick in shade 'Honey Honey'. It's very different to the colour I would usuaually go for so I'm excited to wear it out!
This was the inside of the palette which I think is so cute! There was a brush but I took it out to take photograph :) I did some swatches also, the colours below from left to right are; Nightshade, Thicket, Falsehood, Enchanted Oak and Coppice.
Below are the nail varnishes I received, from left to right, number 7's 'Devils Delight', Essie's 'Orange, it's obvious' (LOVE this one) and Number 7's 'Hot to trot'
I told Chels that my favourite colour at the moment is orange and she certainly listened! Not only did she get me an orange nail varnish that I adore already, but she also purchased an 'orange and cinnamon' shower gel which I used yesterday in the bath and smells DIVINE! :') The other bath goodies I received were a soap (not sure where from) that smells sweet and so lovely and a bath bomb which I think looks like a sandcastle/lego piece :')
Finally, I had a face mask which I used this morning actually and has made my skin feel great and 'Loving Words' by Impulse which I didn't have but my friend sprayed me with at school on Friday and I loved the smell of it then!
So as you can see I received a LOT of things from Chelsea and I'm really grateful for her choices :') Thank you so much Chels and I hope you enjoy what I got you! Go to her blog to see what my present to her was :)
One final thing, I actually opened this up on camera so that I could post it as a video to my YouTube channel that will be uploaded later in the week and you can see my reaction as I open it up! Please go and check it out and I will link it when I've posted it :)
Thanks!!
